In Spain, a great tin of conservas is never just a tin.

It's the beginning of an aperitivo. A slice of good bread, something cold to drink, friends gathering around the table. No elaborate plans, no special occasion. Just something good, opened at the right moment.

Growing up in Spain, we learned that good food doesn't have to be complicated. But choosing well makes all the difference.

When we moved to Zürich, we brought that appreciation with us. And we wanted to share more of it.

Two Spaniards. One simple idea.

We're Andrés and Guillermo, two Spaniards living in Zürich with a shared appreciation for good food, good design and the pleasure of discovering something worth coming back to.

We started The Tin Club with a simple question:

What if finding an exceptional Spanish tin was as enjoyable as opening one?

Not another endless catalogue. Not conservas chosen just to fill a shelf. A considered selection of Spanish sardines and sardinillas, brought together for people who care about what they eat — and the moments they create around it.

A little less, chosen a little better.

We believe great conservas deserve the same attention as great wine, cheese or coffee.

The product matters. So does its origin, how it's made, the ingredients, the texture and the flavour. Every detail can change the experience.

Our ambition is to make discovering Spanish conservas easier, more thoughtful and more enjoyable — whether you grew up with them or are opening your first tin.

We're starting with sardines. Learning, tasting and building our first selection with care. And we want to grow it around one simple principle: every tin should earn its place.

The Tin Club is our way of bringing a little of Spanish food culture to Switzerland: the generosity of an aperitivo, the pleasure of simple ingredients and the belief that everyday moments deserve good food.
