Your data, plainly.
What we collect, why, where it lives, and how to make us delete it.

Who we are
The Tin Club is run by Andrés and Guillermo in Zürich, Switzerland. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the club, reserve a box or sign up anywhere on the site. With it we store the date, your language, the price you were shown and which form you used.
- How you use the site: pages you visit, buttons you click, time spent, browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We never link this to your email.
- Your price and language settings, in your browser, so you see the same price and language each time you visit.
Why
- To write to you about the club and, if you reserved one, about your box.
- To understand how the site is used, test prices and improve what we offer.
We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts the website and the database with the email list (stored in Western Europe).
- PostHog provides our website analytics, on its EU Cloud. It uses a cookie and your browser's local storage to recognise repeat visits.
- Resend sends us an email each time someone signs up, with their address and what they signed up for, through its servers in the EU.
How long we keep it
Your email stays on our list until you ask us to remove it, or until we close the project. Analytics data is kept only as long as we need it to understand how the site is used.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted — one email to [email protected] is enough. You can also block analytics with your browser's privacy settings or a content blocker; the site works the same without it. If you think we've mishandled your data, you can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
